“This annual gathering is our way of thanking our suppliers for their ongoing support which enables us to continue to provide top quality homes and neighbourhoods to new home buyers,” says Patrick O’Hanlon, Kylemore’s president. “I’m pleased but not surprised by the many donations we collected this year; these are some of the most generous people I know.”

Following the party, Trudy Rudolph and Suzanne Raheb of Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada met with some of Kylemore’s team to collect the toys, books and games. “We are so grateful to Kylemore for including us in their holiday program,” says Trudy Rudolph, Hospital program coordinator for Starlight. “This year we have close to 70 Starlight families who will benefit from our Toy Drive. This is only available at the Sloane Kettering Cancer Centre in New York or in Europe. The treatment is not covered by OHIP,” says event sponsor Kylemore Communities President Patrick O’Hanlon. “We hope to raise community awareness as well as kick-start assistance for the family by raising $25,000 from this fabulous event. Every penny from ticket sales will go towards Julia’s treatment,” he adds.
